Kootenay National Park is nestled in the Rocky Mountains in southeastern British Columbia. It was created just over 100 years ago to establish a new highway across the Rockies between Banff National Park and Windermere, British Columbia. Kootenay offers sweeping views of the mountains, contains hot springs and has an abundance of wildlife. It also shows many reminders from all the past forest fires over the years.

Mount Revelstoke National Park
Mount Revelstoke National Park is situated next to the city of Revelstoke in British Columbia. It is a relatively small national park, but it offers a variety of hiking trails and overlooks, most of which are located along the Meadows in the Sky Parkway, a 26km scenic drive to the top of the mountain.

It was the second national park to be established in Canada based on its beautiful landscape. It boasts of having some of the tallest peaks in the Canadian Rockies, features a few turquoise coloured lakes and rivers, and contains a variety of scenic viewpoints and hiking trails.
